Deeply Planting Family-nation Sentiment, Students Celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival——Ingenuity LVTC Mid-Autumn Festival Event Was Successfully Held

Though miles apart, we’ll share the beauty the moon displays.” Ever since ancient times, there have been the customs of admiring and worshiping moon, eating mooncakes, and enjoying osmanthus flowers since ancient times during the Mid-Autumn Festival. In order to further inherit the national culture and promote the national spirit, create a peaceful holiday atmosphere on the campus, stimulate the enthusiasm of teachers and students to participate in traditional cultural activities, strengthen cultural self-confidence, and further promote the ingenuity culture of LVTC, sponsored by the Publicity Department of the Party Committee and Communist Youth League Committee of LVTC，organized by the Ingenuity Academy，co-organized by Student Union and various Student Societies，“Our Festival：Mid-Autumn Festival”themed activity was held on September 21, 2021, from 16:00 to 19:00 in Zone A of Shewan Campus, From 19:00 to 22:00 at Ingenuity Academy of Guantang Campus.

This event mainly includes five parts: the broadcast of the 2021 CCTV Mid-Autumn Festival Gala, Reciting Red Classics, Celebrating Reunion， Poetry Party,Calligraphy and Painting activities, concert entitled “Holding Bright Moon in Arms and Craftsmen Singing Heartily.”and a garden party called “Moon over LVTC”.

The 2021 China Central Radio and Television Mid-Autumn Festival Gala was simultaneously broadcasted in the Hall of Ingenuity Academy. Sections of pictures with strong ethnic characteristics of Xichang, blending the atmosphere of reunion and the family-nation sentiments, presented the traditional culture and the hotspots of the current affairs , home-missing and nation sentiments mixed together, aesthetics and romance staying with local characteristics. It was a win-win audio and visual feast for both artistic effects and social benefits.

At the Mid-Autumn Festival Poetry Meeting of “Reciting the Red Classics, Celebrating the Reunion Festival”, the student union and various students societies organized students to carry out recitations of patriotic poems and traditional Mid-Autumn Festival poems. The moon in a poem is a symbol of reunion, perfectness, and family happiness. At this special Mid-Autumn Festival, the moon was not only the reunion of the small families, but also the happiness of LVTC.

In the painting and calligraphy activity of, under the bright moonlight, the students of Hongyuan Painting and Calligraphy Club splashed ink on the spot.The calligraphy and painting works attracted many students to participate in handwriting traditional cultural poems and expressing the patriotism and love for their hometowns.

At the concert, FMA Guitar Club played “He doesn’t understand”,arising the homesickness of many classmates. The accompaniment of “Let's watch the moon rise”filled the entire terrace of Ingenuity Academy with a strong atmosphere of joy and celebration. When the song was on the rise, many audience spontaneously sang on stage and continued to chant throughout the night.

The activity area of garden party“Moon over LVTC”reverberated with laughters. Many students stopped here, queuing for a long time and participated enthusiastically. Interesting little activities, classic childhood songs, and wonderful little games lead everyone back to those warm childhood days.

According to incomplete statistics, the number of students participating in this event has reached more than 1,000. The event has enriched the students’holiday life, created a good campus cultural atmosphere, and at the same time inherited and promoted the excellent traditional culture of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Ingenuity Academy, full of cultural atmosphere and superior environment, added a deep memory of the ingenuity culture of students’alma mater .
